Treating You
When it comes to health and wellbeing, no two people experience things in the same way. Whether you're dealing with physical discomfort, emotional distress, or a combination of both, your experience is unique to you. That’s why I don’t just treat a condition - I treat you.

A diagnosis, whether it’s sciatica, anxiety, or anything else, is just a label. But labels don’t tell the full story. One person’s sciatica might feel completely different from another’s. The same goes for anxiety—one person’s experience of it may be entirely different from someone else’s. That’s why both acupuncture and cognitive hypnotherapy focus on treating the individual, not the condition. The aim isn’t just to manage symptoms; it’s to work with you, which means that your treatment is as effective as possible and personal to you.

Time for You
Appointments allow time to explore your experiences, your challenges, and the wider picture of your health and wellbeing, when appropriate. Acupuncture and cognitive hypnotherapy both recognise that symptoms don’t exist in isolation. Your physical, emotional and mental wellbeing are interconnected, so we look beyond just the immediate problem.

For acupuncture, this means paying attention to the details - how you sleep, your digestion, stress levels, energy, lifestyle, and even small things that may seem unrelated. In Chinese medicine, all of these elements offer valuable insights into your overall balance and health.

Cognitive hypnotherapy also takes a holistic approach, helping you identify patterns, beliefs, and subconscious influences that may be holding you back. It’s not about labelling what’s "wrong", but understanding how your mind has adapted to life’s experiences and how we can work together to create positive change.
You are Unique
When working with anxiety - or any other challenge - it’s not about treating "anxiety" as a general condition. It’s about understanding how you experience it.

-
What is anxiety like for you?
-
When does it happen? When doesn’t it?
-
What makes it worse? What helps?
No two people experience their condition in the same way. Some people feel anxious in social situations, but calm when alone, while the opposite is true for others. Understanding your patterns, triggers and responses allows treatment to be truly tailored to you - whether that’s through acupuncture, cognitive hypnotherapy, or a combination of both.

Tailored for You

If you’re unsure whether acupuncture or cognitive hypnotherapy is the right approach for you, we’ll decide together. A simple conversation can often help determine what feels like the best fit. Both treatments are designed to help you regain balance, but they do so in different ways.

-
Acupuncture works with the body’s natural energy systems to restore balance, often without needing to talk through past experiences.
-
Cognitive hypnotherapy works with the subconscious mind to help reframe and lessen the impact of past experiences, allowing for personal growth and change.
Whichever approach you choose, the focus remains the same - you. My aim is to help you move forward in a way that feels right for you, whether that’s through physical healing, mental clarity, emotional release, or a combination of all three.
